TREASURE "ROSIE"
HOME WITH THE THOMAS FAMILY IN VA, where she gets lots of love!
Rosie hit 6 months old a few days ago and she is 69 pounds. She finished 3 weeks of training last week also. She is starting to settle down.
She is definitely part of the family. She also lives up to her nickname "Nosey Rosie" as she has her nose into everything. She will steal stuff off
the kitchen counters and out of the sink. She is very tall. She loves to run and chase the ball in the backyard. She gets excited
meeting new friends and is very, very sociable.
She loves to eat socks. She eats my daughter's footsie socks and if we don't catch her, they usually get pooped out. We work hard to keep her out
of stuff, but paper towels, sticks, leaves, napkins, dryer sheets, socks . .. all of it is fair game (as far as she is concerned) for her to eat. And
yes, we do feed her well, did I say she is 69 pounds? I think her feet are growing the fastest. All in all, she is pretty well behaved.
Her coloring is beautiful and we get compliments all the time. She is soft and loves people. Sometimes, if she curls up to sleep, there is no white
visible at all, she looks like a solid black dog. I find I have to look for her white nose and white tail to find her at night.
She gets lots of love in this family.
We are thinking 90-100 pounds when fully grown???? She has been 10 pounds a month lately . . . . (and yes, we love big dogs. So, we think she is
perfect!)
