10-20-21 update
Sonny is doing great! I found a really nice new vet a few towns over and seems to be working out wonderfully. Sonny is a lot different build than Rosie. He is long and lean. I believe he is about 60 pounds right now.

October 2021 update:
We knew he was big and growing fast but we took him to the vets on Tuesday and he weighs…. Drum roll….. 103.5 lbs! He’s huge. The vet says he is absolutely not overweight and he is a “grazer” and not a “gulper” (thankfully), in terms of how he eats. We are laughing at his big “puppy” clumsiness. We just can’t believe how big he is. My little Archie is not so little anymore. Lol!
Anyway, we love him dearly and he’s very energetic and loyal. Sending a few pictures. The one with the other pets are with his brother Turk and sister Luna. He fits into the family nicely. Hoping he will stop jumping on everyone soon (he is only a baby, after all).

August 2021 update:
He’s excellent!! Can’t thank you enough. He’s a head-strong boy for sure, but he is soooo sweet. One thing he’s been doing (which is slightly better lately) is “chewing” on us. He’s very “mouthy”. On another note, he’s HUGE. He weighed 57 pounds 2 weeks ago. Gulp. The vet loves him. The adore his disposition when he comes in for check ups.
Good thing we have another dog who weighs 175 lbs! The other cute thing about Arch ( his nickname), is that he loves any kind of air/AC vent, fan or anything blowing on him. We had to buy a big floor fan to put in our bedroom at night and he puts himself to bed at 9 pm in front of the fan. He’s been super good at sleeping through the night and gets up at 0600 - almost without fail. We call it the “Archie alarm”. We don’t even bother setting our alarms anymore. He’s very vocal too - no shrinking violet! We laugh at his constant mumbling and grumbling sometimes. He’s sooo happy though. He gets to go on walks with my daughter (and us when she’s not here), we’ve taken him to the park and he is so well behaved and he’s so happy to see me when I get home from work. He’s hardly ever been left alone (with another dog and cat) for more than an hour or two. He’s a very curious boy and very friendly. He loves everyone who comes to the house. He chases our chickens around in the yard and is close to swimming in the pool. About that - when can we expect him to swim? We took him to a lake and he waded in some but we couldn’t swim there so he didn’t want to go in. Just curious on how to get him to swim. He seems to want to but I’m not sure when it’s appropriate.
Bottom line: He’s awesome. Can’t thank you enough. Everyone loves him (even the Fedex guy and the repair people). The other pets get along with him okay (he’s a puppy and a little high energy for them). He’s super happy though, and so are we.
