Rosetta's 5-11-19 NewfieDoodle/Newfypoo Litter
Sire: George
I couldn't have ever imagined a better breed. He's beautiful as he is obedient. Thank you!
Karen, owner of James "Doug," Hillsborough, NC
How did we come up with these names? Great question. It's not easy coming up with so many puppy names! So when Rosetta had 13 puppies, we were planning a trip to a reunion for Edee's grandmother's family. Her grandmother (Willene) had 12 siblings, each of whom were dear to her. So, it may be silly, but we assigned these puppies the very names of Granny and her siblings! They would love it.

May 2022 Update:
There is no greater gift our daughter Rachel could have found for her dad than our dog Doug.
He is beyond amazing.
Anywhere we go people tell us he is the most beautiful dog they've ever seen (just after being groomed of course) and as they approach him and realize how sweet and friendly he is to everyone. Never so much as a growl when kids are surrounding him to feel his silky coat.

2-25-21 Update
Hello Moore Family!
Ellie Mae (Willene) is doing well here in Chesapeake, VA. We couldn’t imagine our life without her. She is always a star in the school pick up/drop off line as she hangs her head out the window to greet all the children. She enjoys roaming our little spot here at the end of our road and amazingly loves to walk on downed trees (picture for reference). She seemingly has no fear of heights! She is truly the best dog!
Cheers!
Meghan H.
12-16-19 Update
Ellie Mae (née: Willene) is ~55 pounds now. We love how she truly represents the nanny dog bread by following our children everywhere and sprinting to their side at the slightest squeal. We had to teach them to be prepared for her super fast approaches. 😆 She hates the heat and quickly claimed her favorite A/C vent. Although she likes to test my authority often, she is clearly very smart and understands all our training commands, except heel... still working on that one. She is lightning fast! We’ve struggled back and forth with a UTI infection but are lucky to have a great vet. She is crate trained and has been an angel about that since the first week we had her.
She is ~24 inches to the shoulder and has a very Newfoundland stance although she is a still a bit shorter than we expected. She does not shed or drool. When combing her out following a bath I may get a small handful of hair. Fortunately we’ve not had any problems with matting either and we only brush her every week or so.
We couldn’t be more in love! Hoping one day we can add another dog to our home.
We recommend you online every chance we get.
Cheers!

NOW HOME WITH ELISA AND MATTHEW (and Oreo!), GA!
1-11-21 Update
Just wanted to wish you a happy new year and let you know that Oreo and Gravy are doing great. Oreo is now 44 lbs and very healthy. He is definitely more on the Newfie side than Gravy is :) he is very sweet and loves to sleep. He drools and shed a bit, but not very much. Gravy is 80lbs now and I think Oreo will be significantly bigger than her since he is catching up to her height and weighs 13lbs more than Gravy did at the same age. Thank you for the best puppies we could have gotten!
9-10-20
She loves the beach and sleeping with her toy dog.
4-6-20 Update
I wanted to let you know that Gravy is doing amazing and got a summer cut. She is almost a year old and we love her so much! Attached are some pictures.
We have had the best experience with Gravy and would love to get another dog. We are looking for a boy this time. We would love a brown or brown and white Newfie, but would also consider another newfiepoo brown or brown and white...
8-31-19 Update:
Gravy is amazing! She is our perfect dog. She loves to cuddle in the mornings before she wants to play and everyone in our community knows and loves her. She is curious, but also a great listener. We were able to train her to let us know when she needs to go outside on the first week. She is very smart. She has grown a lot. I am attaching some pictures so you can see her. The vet says she is very healthy also. She does not shed and no drooling either. She has lost three teeth this week :) We are so happy with her and love her so much.

October 2020 update
Dear Mom (Rosetta)
Just a quick note to update you about your favorite daughter. Well ... My first year of life has been so EXCITING !! I have been jet setting across the country and it’s been AWESOME ! After saying “see ya later” to you, dad and the Moore Family, I traveled all the way to San Antonio, Texas and settled into apartment living. We lived on the 4th floor. Whoa ... who knew I would like traveling up and down in an elevator so much. My humans said I was too little to take the stairs and had to wait until I was 1 year old so my joints would be stronger. They sure do take Good care of me mom. Don’t you worry. While in Texas, I made the bestest friend named Casie. She too is a doodle but not a newfiedoodle. We played everyday in the Zen Garden. But then one day, my human dad got a new job in California. So we loaded up the uHaul truck with all my toys and drove all the way from San Antonio, TX to Palmdale, CA. I LOVE it here. The weather is sooo NICE. I definitely am a Cali weather kind of girl. Since I have been here, I turned 1 year old and my humans treated me to my first Big spa day. It was a really good time and I came out looking FABULOUS don’t ya think ?!?!!!! Since moving into the condo, I have become quite the neighborhood show stopper. People literally stop their cars, come over and want to know all about me. Believe it or not some stop every time they see me on a walk to pet me and to give me approved treats. Even my new doctor thought I was ADORABLE...I made his Facebook page ... I mean HOW GREAT IS THAT !!! I have so MANY “New” friends you couldn’t imagine. LIFE is GRAND !! So I am sending you some photos so you can keep me close to your heart. Never fear mom, I Love my humans, but I will always LOVE you the most … Forever, Shelly (a.k.a. Helen)
8-9-19 update
I have been meaning to update you but life has gotten in the way, and it has been busy especially with our “new” sweet bundle of energy lol. I hope all is well with the Moore Family and Shelly’s mom Rosetta. Please give her a “BIG” hug to let her know all is well with her baby.
I have attached a few of my favorite pics of Shelly. She has settled in quickly to apartment living and has become quite the celebrity around here. No one has heard of a Newfiedoodle. And upon first meet and greet, Shelly captures their heart.
Today, 8/09/2019 is Shelly's 3rd wellness vet visit (counting yours as #1) for the last of the puppy vaccinations with our vet Dr. Zach. We are excited to begin the process of socialization with other dogs. Once Dr. Zach gives us the okay, we plan to enroll Shelly in Doggy Day Care 1-2 days a week.
Shelly is such a smart, sweet and charismatic puppy. She is crate trained, a champion retriever of tennis balls, an early riser for breakfast, and LOVES to play with Itsy. She has done well with the potty training with only an occasional accident and that is quite the feat when we live on the 4th floor and have to wait on the slowest elevator in the world. We are working on obedience “tricks” such as down, sit, stay, and lay. Shelly is not a fan of San Antonio’s “Dog days of Summer” heat. She is quite vocal when she gets too warm on our potty sessions and sprints to the door for the the air conditioning. She has quite the personality.
We would like to thank you for allowing us to bring Shelly into our home and better yet into our lives. We are so GRATEFUL to have had the opportunity to meet you, your family and Shelly’s mom.

NOW HOME WITH CHRISTINA, FL!
"The Moore’s have done a great job raising their beautiful puppies on their farm and I look forward to the day I can bring home a little brother or sister for Lucy!"
9-22-19 Update:
Greetings! I thought it would be nice to give an update on my little girl Lucy! Lucy loves to swim! She loves the pool and the beach, is pretty good off leash at the beach as long as there is another dog she’s having a good time with. She loves people probably as much if not a little more than other dogs and is always anxious to say hi to everyone and steal a pet. She started puppy school last week for some formal training but knows all of her basic commands already plus a few tricks. I’d say she’s housebroken but I’ve also hired my neighbor to walk her a couple of times when I’m at work for 12 hrs, so I haven’t given her much. of a chance for a mistake. She’s learned to settle down some nights (or in my case as I work at night, days), when I’m sleeping so she can stay out of the crate while I sleep. Some times her puppy energy is higher and she still needs the crate to let me sleep. She’s super soft and super cuddly, I have a short cut right now because it’s still 100 degrees down here and I’ve noticed she prefers the cooling mat inside, the fan, the shade when outside and pulls me out of the sun when we’re walking. She looks exactly half newfie half poodle with the short cut, she’s tall and lean, weighing in only at 24 pounds right now but tall (I haven’t done official height measurements).
She’s an eye catcher! Everyone wants to know what she is and even when wet and sandy everyone doesn’t mind her coming to say hi or even sitting on their laps. She plays well with dogs of all ages and sizes and although still curious, doesn’t harass the cat!
She truly is a little blessing and love bug. My older dog Hector keeps ticking despite his health and between his health needs and her energy needs, I have lost over ten pounds myself , which was desperately needed! I love my little family and am happy with my decision to get a Moore Family doodle! I continue to look at the litters and see everyone getting new homes plus Jersies pups are gorgeous and still look forward to the day I have a larger home and set up to come get another Moore Family Pup. Thanks again!
Take care and God Bless!

Update from 2/17/20
Wanted to send a couple pics of Uno. He is doing great! We have been working off leash with him (with a long lead), and honestly, he is so wrapped up in what the kids are doing, he couldn't be bothered with anything else! He is quite a snuggle bud, thinks he is a lap dog. He was about 85 lbs in January, and I know he's grown since. He doesn't shed at all. Doesn't drool really, but does collect a bit of water in his beard. We love him so much! Plan to work with him on becoming a certified therapy dog this summer.
Hope you all are doing well! I'm always trying to convince Paul we might need a second. ha!

Marshall "Wyatt"
NOW HOME WITH DOMENIC AND DONNA, CT!
12-28-21 update
Wyatt is doing fantastic especially as a therapy dog. He comes to class with me, we do all kinds of student events to de stress. We haven’t done much with patients due to Covid but all in all he is wonderful at this job. Smart, gentle, intuitive, social and shows he loves the work. The only downside is that for indoor events he gets very warm and drinks lots of water. We give him rest breaks and cool off outside. Also, an awesome way to make friends is just going for a walk in the neighborhood. Constantly getting stopped with compliments and asking what kind of dog he is. Please share my contact with anyone who needs more info or send more questions.
So very happy with him and your breeding!
We are in LOVE with Wyatt’s ½ brother, Kayak! He is beautiful
I forgot to mention another purpose of this amazing breed. We had a Christmas Eve guest who is afraid of dogs- especially big ones. Instead of locking Wyatt in the bedroom, we had a plan to slowly introduce him to our guest. (in the past we had also had successful desensitization with our Golden Retrievers including a boy with severe Autism).
The picture shows the positive experience and how these dogs are sensitive to needs, despite their size. Wyatt can be overwhelming at first, given his size and friendliness, however, he will quickly lay down for a child or someone who sits on floor with him. Withing the first hour, our guest couldn’t get enough of petting him and being next to Wyatt! Very excited to get him started in a Paws and Read program as soon as schools will allow.
The other pic is one of my Occupational Therapy students during a final exam event where I bring the therapy dogs to campus for ‘de-stressing’ events. This is not only a very sought after event, but we have data to show it lowers blood pressure, heart rate, and stress ratings!
10/9/19 update
I am so happy and proud to let you know that Wyatt, completed his first unofficial therapy visit today with my occupational therapy students and he was a rockstar! Gelato, of course, role modeled along the way.
