ALL ENJOYING THEIR NEW HOMES NOW!
The Girls
Luna
Now home with Tara (and Amaya!) and family in VA!
Update from July 6, 2021
Hi Moore family,
I attached a few photos of Amaya and Luna, along with a bonus photo of Luna pulling the kids back to shore at the lake.
They both love to swim and retrieve; but Luna has decided that she is a water rescue dog and who am I to argue? :)
We love our Moore Family Newfies so much - they are both healthy, sweet, and well socialized! We wouldn't go anywhere else!
Thank you so much for giving us such wonderful dogs!
Sincerely, Tara George
Update from November 16, 2020
Luna is beautiful - tall and athletic and very sweet. You can definitely see her brown highlights from daddy Luke.
Update from June 4, 2019
Luna is doing great! Nayla is adjusting to having a new puppy. Luna follows her everywhere, but they are doing well. Luna wants to play half the night; but she's already partially potty trained and tells me when she wants to go out! :) I wanted to thank you for your hospitality during our visit on Friday! It was wonderful to meet you, see Luke and Laurel, and see the farm! Thank you for such a great experience and for an amazing puppy!
Update from June 27, 2019
Luna is doing great! She weighed in at 25 lbs last week at her vet visit last week and is very helpful, beautiful, and super cuddly! We took her to the lake last weekend and she had her first swim with Nayla :)
Lady Bug - "Kona-Bug"
NOW HOME WITH MARGO WAFFLES, AND BISCUIT.
Update from 10-5-2-
Waffles and Kona are really loving the cooler weather! Waffles is now 85lbs and Kona is 155 lbs!!! We would love to have play dates with any of their brothers and sisters in the DC area
Update from August 6, 2019:
I just wanted to let you know that Miss Kona is doing great! She LOVES balls and bounces them around the kitchen while I cook. We are looking forward to our first beach trip here in a couple weeks when the vet says she can go to dog parks and into the water. In the meantime, she is going to keep sleeping on her back and trying to get in the shower with me every morning!
Thank you for such a great dog!

Look who's turned 4 today!!
Happy Birthday to LouLou and Legend!!! My little bookends, sometimes I can't tell who's who's as they lie down together identically! And also a Happy Birthday to all of your April birthdays over there!! I know it's a jam packed birthday week for you guys!!
Neither one of them could be bothered to wake up from their nap for a picture, and when they are awake they're near impossible to take a picture of because every time I move away from them to take one they follow me and move closer .....
They've both been sleeping alot and have been quieter, still adjusting to losing Dunkin. They probably would've normally been this way but Dunk was such an energy packed goofball that he was always bounding around them demanding they play with him. Even the UPS guy gets in and out undetectable now, before nothing would get past the 3 of them!
Just wanted to celebrate and share their birthday today, such a special day for us! We love them so much!!
January 28, 2021 Update
MaryLou is doing wonderfully! She just got her new Big Barker Dog Bed delivered last week and is snuggled up on it now as I write this. We absolutely love and cherish MaryLou, and Dunkin and her are still inseparable. When they are not using each other as pillows they are never more then a foot or two apart from each other at all times! It seems everyone in town knows them as a duo too. I get complete strangers who stop and ask where one or the other is if they only see me out walking one at a time because they always see me with them together. I started doing individual walks with them more as it's our one on one time together and she likes a slower stroll then Dunkin. MaryLou struts her stuff and love love LOVES her daily walks!! She's usually so low key, mellow and calm until she sees those sneakers come out, then she turns into a bouncing bean hopping up and down like a little kid...it's hysterical! lol I can not wait until Spring comes and I am able to take her out to go swimming!! She absolutely loves to stomp her way through puddles while Dunkin walks around them. Sometimes she'll pull me back just so she can stomp right through the middle of them again before we continue on!
May 7, 2020 Update:
Let me just start out by saying, she has been an absolute Dream and it has been like she has been here with us for years! We have had ZERO issues with her, and in fact she has helped me tremendously with settling Dunkin down a bit! I hope you don't mind, we did change her name to MaryLou, we call her LouLou for short. She seems to love it, as the first week I was using both names (LynHaven and MaryLou) to see which one she was more responsive to, and she perks right up when I called her by Lou. MaryLous is a New England Coffee chain around here, and my favorite next to Dunkin Donuts :)
Just like you had assured me, I didn't even need to housetrain MaryLou, as she's so smart she understood what she needed to do by day 2! Also like you had said, She has been WONDERFUL with my children!!! She is so gentle and loving with my 6 yr old, she truly, truly has that Nana Newf temperment that you promised and that one can only dream of!! I have a hard time remembering that she is actually younger then Dunkin because she has that old soul/wise beyond her years attitude.
And then there is her and Dunkin......Not ONE issue between them! Since Day 1, they are pretty much inseperable. There's really never a time that they are not practically on top of one another and they always make sure they are at least touching. Dunkin has always been glued to me, I am his human, and MaryLou has followed suit. I now have 2 shadows following me around all day. At first, for our daily walks, I would take Dunkin first then take MaryLou after, seperately. She didn't seem to like when I left with Dunkin, and would howl/bark her disapproval until we would return. So, now I take them both together and they love it! (as do I) She likes to "walk me", when we walk she scopes my wrist into her mouth and gently holds my hand while we walk down the street together.....she is such a Goofball, she cracks me up!!! She has been fantastic on leash as she always wants to be right by my side, holding my hand. She makes sure I pretty much can't get anything accomplished until they get their walk in. I wake up in the morning and she's staring at my sneakers and looking at me like "let's go!!"
I am so very thankful and blessed that you chose us to take care of LynHaven/MaryLou. She is indeed a very special girl, as I truly had a gut feeling that she would be. As I had mentioned before, something inside me screamed at me to act on her when I saw her picture.....and literally the moment I actual met her, when she came to me and just sat next to my feet and pushed up against my leg, I felt like she has always been with me! We drove almost 15 hours home that day and she was absolutely amazing, she was the perfect co pilot!
My daughter Brooke practices her reading to MaryLou and Dunkin, it melts my heart! We just love her so very much, she is a very special part of our family and has adjusted so amazing well!
Thank you Moore family! Stay safe and healthy!

Update from May 1, 2020
Our Libby is doing very well. She is 135 + lbs...so much for being the runt! She is a sweet girl, extremely smart, a very loyal family dog, great with other animals, loves water, very playful, very very mouthy...something that we are still working on :), She loves a routine, and does very well in her routine...just like a child, she is good with our children...they are small and sometimes she can be rough with them, but she is toughening them up and she is rougher with our son who is the oldest and largest of our 3 and likes to play rough. She has added a lot of happiness to our family, and has filled a spot in my heart that was wanting another child. She is my fourth baby, and has been as much work as one.....in a good way :)

Update from 5-3-22
Can’t believe this big boy is three! He was 188 lbs so we put him on a little diet 😅. He is the best!
Update from 4-28-21
Can’t believe he is already two.... about time I get my name on for another reservation ... lol😂. We couldn’t love him any more.
Update from 12-10-19:
"Lumber is now over 120! I guess he will be up there like dad! We can’t get over how beautiful he is!"
Update from 4-7-20:
"Oh where to start.... what a goofy boy, so full of personality...He absolutely loves balls.. he has a ton and when he gets up or he is bored he will drop them in your lap and stare at you till you throw them... he will even do zoomies around the house for them. And if the family is on the couch he will come take a seat with. He used to take a long walk in the morning but me and the kids have started taking him on a night walk too.. so he will go grab his leash and come bark at us until we walk him. He gets fed twice a day and if he thinks we aren’t feeding him early enough in the evening he will grab his bowl and take off around the house with it to get our attention. He is always a hit in the parks... people say how beautiful he is out and about all the time... everyone knows him at the Lowe’s and tractor supply. He is about 140 lbs now. I think he has finally leveled off. Very tall."
