April 2023 Update:
She’s a big sweetheart and getting sweeter everyday. She’s still a bit enthusiastic meeting people on her leash but that’s improving.
I enjoy following the dog and puppy updates on your site. Thank you for our sweet girl. Carol
10-18-22 Update
I am sending an update on Miss Ellie. She is now a boisterous nine month old. She can be a handful, but can also be a real sweetie. She’s definitely more energetic than our last one. She’s also a big girl. At nine months she’s weighing in at 111 pounds! Hopefully she’ll slow down a little soon. It’s cold today with quite a breeze and she wants to be on the deck. Unfortunately she wants us to be out there too.
She did well staying with the trainer a few days. She got to be with other dogs and have a large yard to explore. The trainer is a positive reinforcement trainer only and does not use shock collars or other harsh training methods.
Previously:
We decided to call her “Ellie”. We like the meaning of the the name (shining light or God is my light) and it seems to fit her sweet being. We noticed Luke’s “formal name” has “light” in it too. We are blessed to have Ellie in our family. She has brought smiles (and laughs).

She is very calm but loves being active with the little ones lol. Then she will quickly retreat to her on space when she gets tired 😂.

4-13-22 update
Nugget (aka Nugs or Nug Bug) is doing so well! She loves all of her siblings (two and four legged)! Pepper (our 6 month old newfie mix) loves having her! She is the perfect addition to our family! So amazing to finally make my dreams of owning a newfie come true!

Hey there, had to send you these photos of baby Niko (Nikolai) and Biggie (also called Mr. Bigs) we love him so much. He has definitely found a friend in Niko, and we're still slowly introducing him to our German shepherd Zena. She's very high energy, and I think he was a bit overwhelmed meeting her! So far so good; he is a very playful and silly pup, and so so sweet. Hope you all are doing well, and we will update you all as Biggie (Mr.Bigs) grows!!

Meyer is such a precious puppy!!! 🥰 Honestly, his personality is fabulous. He is so sweet and calm which makes him a joy to be around. He is not mouthy at all- a rarity for a 5 month old! He listens SO well that I seriously believe that he might know the English language! 🤣
